WOOLTEX

Wooltex is a felt geotextile made with NZ wool needle punched into a thick felt offering strong durability for an organic and eco friendly option. 
When mixed with sand, it binds, providing stablility and cushioning to reduce concussion of the legs, will also protection the degradation of your sand. 
Additionally, it has water absorption, retention and disbursement properties, making it ideal for arena's with limited irrigation. 
Wooltex does not break down or smell, and field tests have confirmed that pieces left in an arena for 2 years showed zero change or degradation.
 
Wooltex arrives in compacted wool fadge bales 100kgs which need to be installed evenly in a grid, spread around your arena, then watered (soaked), power harrowed in to combine with your sand or existing surface, and ideally rolled with a heavy roller. 
Groom with an arena groomer (no need for a specific fibre groomer/rake) and irrigate regularly.
 
This product is not meant to be used on its own, Wooltex should be mixed with at least 6cm of sand to be effective, however, will improve any exisiting surface.
