WOOLTEX
Wooltex is a felt geotextile made with NZ wool that has a synthetic polymer coating for durability and protection. When mixed with sand, it provides secure footing with stability and cushioning to prevent and reduce concussion of the legs. Additionally, it has water absorption, retention and disbursement properties, making it ideal for arena's with limited irrigation. It does not rot or smell, and field tests have confirmed that pieces left in an arena for 2 years showed zero change or degradation.
Wooltex arrives in compacted wool fadge bales 100kgs which need to be installed evenly in a grid, spread around your arena, then watered (soaked), power harrowed in to combine with your sand or existing surface, and then rolled with a heavy roller. Groom with an arena groomer and irrigate regularly.
This product is not meant to be used on its own, Wooltex must be mixed with at least 7.5cm of sand to be effective.
The pricing listed is per square metre @ 1.5cm coverage and includes GST.
