ARENA CLEANER
Specialist machine that extensively screens your arena surface to remove all unwanted materials such as rocks, stones, leaves, manure, or expired surfaces, leaving your arena groomed, fluffed up, and ready to ride.
Our arena cleaner is the only one of its kind in NZ available commercially. Ideal for deep conditioning maintenance of your arena, or if you have bought a new property with an existing arena you wish to clean for health and safety reasons.
Our machine screens to 10mm square, so sand will fall through; anything above 9- 10 mm will be retained on the machine and removed.
On arrival, our operator will laser level up to 8-10 points across your arena to get a picture of the fall, low, and high points. If all is even, we proceed with cleaning and grooming.
Our operator can discuss your arena depth, levels, surfaces, products, and improvement recommendations.

Price shown includes arena cleaner machine and operator for the first 3 hours.
Additional hours are at the reduced rate of $300 + GST
Skid Steer hire is an additional charge dependant on location and machine availability. This will be quoted separately once location and booking are known.
We will make contact with date/s available (weather permitting) and will try to arrange other bookings at the same time and share transport costs.
Please advise if you have a quad and groomer available on the day.
Disposal of screenings is recommended to be on-site or on a trailer. We can arrange disposal for additional time/mileage charges plus any applicable dumping fees.
Important note
This machine is designed for a sand surface; therefore, it will also remove fibre or rubber from your surface at the same time as stones and organic material. At this stage, it cannot be separated and put back on.
For best results
Minimum 3 days of dry weather.
Spray any organic growth 2 weeks prior (to optimise hours booked)
Leading up to the booking date, groom the arena several times per week for 20 minutes to loosen the surface. This makes it easier for the machine to remove more material faster.
Rake in the corners to assist the cleaner in picking up the material.Provide a material dump site close to arena, or additional dump costs will apply.
Our base is Whanganui; travel and accommodation costs apply if applicable.Our machinery will need a minimum 2.4 gateway for access.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Whilst all care is provided and we have strict quality control policies in place, our operator will do the best job possible for a straight forward level and clean. If the job is more complex then this will be discussed on arrrival and on assessment. Minimum call out is $1500.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
If your arena is not level, we can do this at the same time. This does incur extra time, equipment and charges.
MAINTENANCE
We can check that your grooming schedule is suitable and your equipment is correct for use, traffic and type of surface. We can suggest new maintainance plans, adjust groomer levels, showing how-to, including grooming patterns, discuss dust inhibitors, best practices, upgrade, downgrade, attachments or products thay would make your job easier.
Additional time charges apply plus parts and consumables if required.
