Our GGT Fibre Bales provide the same world‑class German-engineered fibre used in our discipline-specific blends, supplied in a clean, easy‑to-handle bale. Perfect for topping up existing arenas, custom blends, or new builds requiring flexible fibre percentages.

Ideal for

Important Note:
GGT Fibre is designed to be combined with a minimum of 8cm of sand for optimal performance. It requires an irrigation system and a specialist fibre surface groomer with a roller for proper maintenance. Manure and organic material must be removed from the surface promptly. Request quotes for European and NZ groomer options.
Please know that the footing takes time to bind and completely form your desired texture; this surface will get better and better over time.
Installation:
GGT fibre arrives in premixed compacted bales, which need to be installed evenly in a grid spread around your arena, then watered (soaked), then blended with a power harrow to combine with your sand or existing surface, then rolled with a heavy roller OR you can also use a mixer wagon to weigh and pre-blend the sand and fibre.

IRRIGATION REQUIREMENT
This system works best with a below-ground watering system; above-ground systems do work with a data-based plan. Watering the arena daily helps prevent the fibre and sand from drying out and causing separation. The number of times you need to water will depend heavily on environmental factors such as usage, sun, humidity, and wind.
The recommended moisture level for your arena is 23% , which, to give you an idea, should feel like the edge of the water from where the waves reach the beach.
